Day 1
Arrival in Guwahati
Arrival into Guwahati, the gateway to North East India.
Guests are welcomed by our private transfer team and taken directly to a premium riverside hotel overlooking the Brahmaputra River. The first evening is intentionally relaxed, allowing time to recover from travel and settle into the slower rhythm of Assam.
Depending on arrival time, guests may enjoy a sunset riverside walk or optional private Brahmaputra cruise before a curated Assamese welcome dinner.
Day 2
Guwahati to Kaziranga National Park
The morning begins with a guided visit to Kamakhya Temple, one of the most important spiritual sites in eastern India.
After breakfast, guests travel eastward through the Assamese countryside toward Kaziranga. The route passes small villages, rice fields, roadside tea stalls, and glimpses of the Brahmaputra floodplains.
Arrival into a luxury jungle retreat near Kaziranga in the late afternoon, with time to relax before dinner.
Day 3
Kaziranga Safari & Tea Country
From dramatic Dolomites peaks to the calm elegance of Lake Como.
By afternoon, guests arrive at a luxury tea estate stay surrounded by rolling gardens and colonial era bungalows.
Day 4
Exploring Assam’s Tea Estates
The journey continues toward Majuli, one of the world’s largest river islands, located within the Brahmaputra.
After crossing by ferry, guests enter a quieter side of Assam known for its monasteries, satras, mask making traditions, and deeply rooted spiritual culture.
The atmosphere shifts completely here; slower roads, open skies, rice fields, and riverside life dominate the landscape.
Day 5
Jorhat → Majuli
The journey continues toward Majuli, one of the world’s largest river islands, located within the Brahmaputra.
After crossing by ferry, guests enter a quieter side of Assam known for its monasteries, satras, mask making traditions, and deeply rooted spiritual culture.
The atmosphere shifts completely here; slower roads, open skies, rice fields, and riverside life dominate the landscape.
Day 6
Majuli to Guwahati
A relaxed morning allows time to experience Majuli’s monasteries, traditional arts, and riverside villages before beginning the return journey toward Guwahati.
The drive back offers one final opportunity to experience the changing landscapes of Assam; tea gardens, floodplains, forests, and the immense Brahmaputra basin.
Arrival into Guwahati in the evening for a farewell dinner celebrating Assamese cuisine and tea culture.
