Day 1

Guwahati to Pobitora Wetlands

The journey begins eastward along the southern banks of the Brahmaputra toward the wetlands and floodplains of Pobitora.

Known for its dense rhinoceros population and peaceful wetland landscapes, Pobitora offers a quieter and less commercial alternative to larger safari destinations.

Guests enjoy a sunset jeep safari through the grasslands before relaxing at a luxury eco lodge surrounded by river-fed countryside.

Day 2

Pobitora to Sualkuchi & River Villages

Travelling back alongside the Brahmaputra, guests arrive in Sualkuchi, Assam’s famous silk weaving town.

The day focuses on riverside Assamese life; weaving communities, fishing villages, ferry crossings, and local crafts shaped by generations of life beside the river.

Sualkuchi to Hajo
